Terms and conditions of sale
Existing terms are retained for the fabrication and smart-home services described below. The scope and terms applicable to your project are specified in the commercial proposal.
Article 1 - Purpose
These terms and conditions of sale apply to all services provided by Spynex, including 3D printing, CNC cutting, smart-home solutions, prototyping and technical consulting.
Article 2 - Quotes and orders
Every service is subject to a detailed prior quote specifying:
The nature of the services
Completion times
The total price including tax
Payment terms
The quote is valid for 30 days. The order becomes final only after the client’s written acceptance of the quote and payment of any required deposit.
Article 3 - Prices and payment
Prices are expressed in CFA francs (XAF), including all taxes. Payment terms are:
A 50% deposit on order for projects above XAF 100,000
Balance on delivery
Full payment for services below XAF 100,000
Accepted payment methods: cash, bank transfer, Mobile Money (Orange Money, MTN Money).
Article 4 - Timeframes
Completion times are indicative and begin upon receipt of the deposit and all items needed to perform the service. A delay does not give rise to compensation.
Article 5 - Delivery
Delivery is made to the address provided by the client. Risk passes to the client when the products are handed over. The client has 48 hours to report any apparent defect.
Article 6 - Warranties
Spynex warrants its services against manufacturing defects for:
3 months for 3D-printed parts
6 months for CNC-machined parts
1 year for smart-home installations
This warranty does not cover normal wear, damage caused by misuse or accidents.
Article 7 - Intellectual property
Files and drawings supplied by the client remain their property. Spynex undertakes not to disclose them to third parties and to destroy them after the service is completed, unless otherwise agreed.
Article 8 - Liability
Spynex’s liability is limited to the value of the service. It cannot be held liable for indirect damage or loss of business.
Article 9 - Termination
In the event of non-payment by the due date, the sale shall terminate automatically after formal notice has remained unanswered for 8 days, without prejudice to any claim for damages.
Article 10 - Disputes
Any dispute concerning the interpretation or performance of these terms and conditions of sale is governed by Cameroonian law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of Douala have sole jurisdiction.
